Has anyone checked out the latest telephoto zoom from Tamron? I was wondering what sort of reviews it is getting?
I read a report from Dustin Abbott, who has some good thins to say about the lens, but when I saw the photos that he had included in his review, I wasn't too impressed with some of the shots. A mixed bag.
I'm never quite sure if some of these writers are getting some sort of kickback for writing a good review, so I'm more interested to hear what the people for UHH have to say about new product.
I would be interested to hear your feedback.

Although this Tamron seems to be an improvement on earlier versions, it sounds like the Canon 100-400 is probably still the way to go, even though it's several hundred dollars more.

I disagree from the shots taken that have been posted on UHH the Tamron is as sharp as the Canon but has also 200mm longer reach and it considerably cheaper and I am a Canon user but the proof of the pudding is in the eating
