Pictxterowner 3 D sbs, you are welcome. Long ago I started questioning everything that I see or read on the internet! lol

After watching the video I went back and looked at the girl. She was totally sans makeup, and the photo was very dark. I have an idea that with the right makeup, hair, and lighting that the "real girl" could look very much like the touched up girl in this case.

My guess is that the video had much more time than just a few minutes put into it. It was made to look like it just kind of happened before your very eyes, but I think there was a lot of time consuming detail put into it to get it like what we saw.

But it's all headed in that general direction. Just a matter of software & raw CPU power.

That is incredible. I knew this could be done with still photos but had no idea it could be done with video. In Adobe CS6 the lighting and gain changes can be perpetuated across a clip, but I guess something like a new hairstyle would be a mask, but I wonder if the mask would be static or actually be attached to and move with her head in the frame, if she were to move around more than she did. I wonder if this video was done with a standard editor, or if there is new software or plugins to do these type of makeup and hairstyle changes?

I was so intrigued by this video that I did a youtube search on color grading. I don't know if anyone else here uses Adobe CS6 Pro as a video editor, but it basically does for video what Paint Shop does for still pics.
Here is a short 10 minute video that guided me step by step in CS6 Pro to allow me to grade my first clip. The presenter looks like a kid, but he really knows his stuff and probably condensed a week's worth of learning into a few minutes in such a way that I could press pause and copy his steps and results in less than a half hour on my own clip.
