Selkii....One question for dog lovers....does the five second rule not apply because dogs don't allow food to stay on the floor that long or because it never hits the floor?

With one of my dogs... It never hit the floor. She would station herself under me or the counter or the stove, mouth at the ready.
With my remaining pup, it hits the floor... I think. At nearly 17 yo, he's like greased lightening when it comes to food.

Both..... I had a chihuahua 17yrs old that could hear a piece of food falling through the air and be across the room before it hit the floor....
Sure saved on Vacuum Cleaner Filters....
