I am gearing up to start selling some of my best matted 5x7's 8x 10's and 11 x 14 photoboards this coming spring. Most shows have 11 x 11 slots for vendors. I did some research today on canopies with sidewalls but would love to hear from those of you who do A/C fairs....suggestions for a good canopy appreciated....

Get a EZ up. Anywhere for about 100.00 and it's easy up. Which means 2 people can set up in about 5 minutes. Make sure you inquire on what color is recommended sometimes they want blue and sometimes white. Usually 9 out of 10x's it's blue and the size should be 10x10. Make sure you ask if there will be electricity as well fans are a must so your pictures dont sweat.

Can not beat the BETTER GRADE E-Z UP 10' x 10'. It will have perpendicular legs not slanted ones like the low grade hundred buck ones. Also comes with a much better grade top, stronger framework, sides, front overhead flap, and a carry case on wheels. Last spring they ran anywhere from $175 to a tad over 200 bucks depending where purchased. We do outside events, our better grade E-Z UPS tied down well have survived 5 seasons, 2 tornadoes, many severe thunder storms, even a flood with 4 feet of water in tents. Tried the lesser grade, none lasted a full seasons, a couple lasted two shows. Most frames bent in slight winds, or while opening or closing.

I'm with Bobb. I had one with the slanted legs, lost it in the middle of a show due to wind. Went with the better E-Z up from Sams club. I now have 2 of them so I can go 10 x 20. You will also need some sort of weights for the corners. I used 3" x 2 1/2' PVC filled with concret. cap on both end and eye bolt sticking out the other suspend from the tent frame with wratching strapes. I also use PVC lattice frame in 1x2's to give me something to hange framed work from.

I don't do shows, but I did do Bonnaroo, a music festival in central TN for four days. My Coleman 12x12 canopy (a bit bigger than the space you listed) was dead simple to set up and take down and never once gave us any trouble despite high winds one night.

Weights are indeed a great assist in moderate winds, we use concrete blocks if setting up on concrete. On dirt we drive stakes beside each leg and tie from steak to corner brackets at top. Setting up on blacktop is the least work, use big battery drill to drive 3 inch deck screws through the leg feet holes into the blacktop. Latice makes a very nice hanging wall. In a pinch we tied nylon rope horizontal between legs. "A pinch" means we forgot to pack the latice....
