Nice picture, I just played around with a picture in RAW today, think it going to be a big learning curve.

Processing RAW files serves the same function as darkroom processing with film and paper. It is as important to the outcome as snapping the shutter. You control the final product rather than your camera's inboard processor.
Just as photography books and classes can improve our shooting, processing classes can improve our pictures. I recommend anything from Scott Kelby. He has books and online classes. He gets right to the point with great tips and insights.
I am using his Lightroom 4 book now. I am pleased with how easy Kelby has made it for me to use this powerful software.
