Aquarium

I have tried on several occasions to get a decent shot of my doctor's aquarium. I don't think my camera can do it. The fish are too fast, the lighting is bad, and no settings tried ever resulted in a good photo. I worked with one of the images anyway, but had to posterize it to make it viewable.

This came out nice with the blue, HT. I just kept changing Doctors until I found one with a fish tank I could photograph. Took a while but certainly worth it :D

Use your flash but don't stand right in front of the tank. Shoot at a slight angle so the flare from the flash doesn't come back into the lens. I have photographed many aquarium situations this way and was always successful. This also works when shooting a subject in front of a window or other reflective surface.

I'll try it, thanks.
