Walking wasn't the most fun I had with all the cars there.

Nice series, Sarge. Really loved the 56 and 57 Chevies, and in this group the 42 Ford woody is the standout.

You Think so? View the maroon coupe full size, check out the reflections in the body. That is soooo straight. A great panel job, you'll never see one as smooth as that.

I had it in my backpack but all these photos were with the Nikon D7000 and the 55-300 lens. Settings were manual at ISO 400 / Apeture 6.7 / Shutter 750th all hand held.

HI Thanks for this information. Can you tell me why you used a "longer" lens? For these subjects I would have thought a wider lens (18-55 range) would mean I could work closer to the subject. If I had to guess it will be to get a better perspective maybe? less distortion of the vehicle shape? I really wanting to learn to do better myself. Thanks for a great series, Andrew.

Lazy, many times I wanted to get a shot from a distance because it seemed like every time I got close, people would be in the photo all the time. So I could get some shots from a distance when the zoom would get me in.
