Great photos, Regis!
Do you always carry some treats for the squirrels?

Thank you. Yes, I usually carry those big figure 8 peanuts because they like them and it takes time for them to eat while I compose my photo.

Thanks, Regis. Appreciate your taking the time to post. The squirrel & female Mallard are outstanding. Now that I see what you have accomplished with the Tamron, I'm putting it on my wish list. Great job.
Thanks again for reposting so I could get a closer look.

Wonderful, Regis. I really enjoyed the one of the porky squirrel with his peanut candy bar. Sharp, sharp, sharp.

Your welcome. I'm just glad I pre-ordered mine and got it 3 days ago. I never realized the demand would be that high for this wonderful lens and be back-logged.
Great VC and quick focusing.

David, Yes I am very happy with my new lens and it certainly is worth every penny. I just hope the weather bets better here in North Idaho. I took those photos under cloudy and foggy weather.

Thank you. It is a good way to pose the squirrel when he or she is nibbling on a peanut which I always carry a small bag of them in the car.

Beautiful, especially considering that the ducks were moving. I like the water drops on the male's head.

Thank you for your kind opinion. Those ducks would not sit still.

Well, you can sit there for a few hours and wait for them to take a nap. :D

This small lake, that they were in, froze over except for about 50 feet close to shore so I had a captive wildlife audience. Generally in warmer weather they swim out to the middle of the lake so it becomes harder to get a good detailed shot at that distance.

Thank you. I will be testing the new lens more once we get some sunshine around here in cloudy North Idaho.
Then the photos should be more detailed and more colorful.
Time will tell, but I'm happy with the results so far.
