I was just looking out the window at lunchtime and the solitary leaf in the snow caught my eye. I also liked the way the trees shadow seemed to reach out to it. After zooming in at the leaf it appears that only half the leaf is in the snow. The other half is shadow.

When I first opened up this thread I thought, "interesting lines of the shadow" and attempted to brush off something from my screen....which happened to be the leaf. :)
For me, I think the photo and story had potential but the subject is just too small to grab much attention. Maybe if you got a bit closer? 8-)
