I was looking at your aviator and wondering where you set up like that when you shoot these or were these shot free hand?

I do both I built a elevator for my tripod so when I shoot with the 400 2.8 I can track the birds without having to scrunch down or go up on my tippy toes. When I use the 100-400 it is hand held.

The first one is with the 400 and the others with the 100-400 hand held I was lucky today as the wind was so strong the bird was basically going nowhere and hovered over my head for a couple minutes
