I am to cold to go out and shoot so I am playing with my pictures from the warmer months. This was from a trip this summer to the Berkshire Mountians.
A great shot, is it a water tower? Love the B+W treatment.

Very nice and well composed photo.
Actually it is some sort of monument. I went inside and it is very interesting. Thanks for commenting! :)

It looks like a beautiful lighthouse, but far from the shore.
Thank you very much! It was pretty cool the way the clouds were covering the land...nice place I agree!

Very nice capture of the monument on top of Mt. Greylock. It's a sight I see quite often when I go to visit my daughter. You've captured it very dramatically.
Thanks! It is some monument. Very pretty views from up there but that day the clouds were very dramatic.

Yes I prefer prime lenses and a light camera bag. The 20mm is a nice "walk around " lens on an APS-C format camera.
I also have a lovely Fuji X-pro1, with 18 & 35mm lenses and am saving for a 14mm lens next, as Santa did not oblige!

Very dramatic shot.
I had to look it up. That's on Mt. Greylock out in North Adams. It's the War Memorial Beacon. I have lived in MA all my life and only saw Mt. Greylock a few years ago. I have to tell you that it is quite something to see especially going west on RT 116.
Google mapped it and saw something quite unexpected there. Check it out!

Look at the lower right of the map. You may need to zoom out.
A very popular motorcycle destination BTW.
