Has anyone taken the Dash courses from David Peterson and if so has it helped you? I am thinking about taking one of his courses but you never know if it's just another one of those courses that just take your money without teaching you a thing.

Went to his Web-site. Found this text:
"By practicing the techniques you just read about with your camera, you can quickly achieve the breakthrough in photography youve always wanted."
So why pay to take his course? Go online to learn photography from free sources. Just Google a topic, read it, and then practice it. Learn from your mistakes and successes. You can teach yourself photography.
That said, try always to carry a camera with you, even if just a point-and-shoot camera. Fit the doing of photography to your daily routine. All this practice will accumulate to improve your photography skills.

My biggest problems are trying to get out of the auto mode. I still don't have a good understanding of f-stop, iso etc. Thought maybe I could learn something from the course but I'm sure your right. I have tried going on you tube and watching video's but it seems that everyone has a different way of doing the same thing.
Kelby Training is pretty darn good.
