I think this is exceptional! I have seen one launch, daytime. To get this at night, you did everything right. I just love this, so remarkable!
I wonder how you arrived at those settings that could put you at risk of loosing the ,moment if it did not work¡
This is incidental and perhaps inane but as it downloads it looks like its falling from the sky to hit the Cape!

Excellent exposure-well composed.
Samuraiz: Awesome shot. The EXIF says it was a 136 second exposure. Considering you only had one chance at this shot, I would say you were really talented or just plain lucky. You can actually see the big dipper in the stars. Neat addition.
