i am afraid they are not very interesting. These are of my violet shot with the patio doors at my back, Sunlight shining through for a brief few seconds. Both are shot with the 100 macro lens, settings of ISO 200, and at F 16.

I've had the lens for at least 2 years and had only used it for taking close ups of tiny plants.
Then i saw the neat things the macro forum was sharing with us.
That interested me, even more. :)

How far are you from Castle Rock Colorado? It's south of Denver just off the interstate.

I do a little now and then. We had hardly any bugs in the yard this year. Even the mosquitos weren't bad this summer. But I will drag out the 105 and play a little. It is to cold to go outside right now.:)

It sure is to cold and there's absolutely nothing to shoot. No bugs and no flowers.
