Hello, I just wanted to share a thought with you all. The jokes and humor on this website are great and it puts a smile on my face! However, "Obama-bashing" and "liberal bashing" gets really old. Can't we all share ideas without being so rude at times?

I agree. I don't mind the discussions but when it becomes rude and people make it personal it becomes meaningless.

As does Republican, Conservative, and Christian bashing. An easy solution if it gets to you and others is to not read those threads...simple, isn't it. :D

I want to agree with you, but... can the conservative-bashing, Republic-bashing, and Tea Party Trashing continue?
We ALL need to strive to use, and practice our freedom of speech, and art of debate with respect, courtesy, and diplomacy, towards all, those we agree with and those we don't agree with.
Here is an idea, lets just watch and see who blows these warm intentions first.

I prefer peaceful discussion and jokes, and the occasional exchange of ideas that prove rather civil in content. That was what I demanded in my teaching and seminars years ago.
That being said, Freedom of Speech isn't required for the opinions, right or wrong, that we all AGREE with every day. Other than that, there are real some crazy people . . .

I used to look forward to reading this session mainly because of the jokes as well. Unfortunately, some trollers have really changed it. I used to pass along many of the jokes to my friends but now they have become very scarce. They should have a politics session for those who feed on bashing the right as well as the left.
