A late instar larva (caterpillar) of the Cabbage White butterfly (Pieris rapae).

Hand-held Nikon D5200 (24 Mp) at ISO 200, with Nikkor 105G macro lens, 1/200-sec at f/16, deep shade + Nikon SB-600 speedlight with FotoDiox 6x8-inch softbox diffuser.
