So, I had an opportunity to take engagement photos of a family member. The photos have come out good. I used Nikon d-80 camera with an 18-135 Nikon lens & a Nikon SB-600 TTL Flash. I Can have them printed anywhere but, How do I load them on a computer and enhance ( make a few changes ) the photos, and then put them on a say disk and then have them printed? Are. there any labs that can do this in U.S.? By the way I am from Memphis, Tn.

If your computer does not have a sd slot you can get a card reader for about $10. You should have got a cord to hook your camera to your computer. I did with my D80. Look in your instruction book and it will tell you how. - Dave

Picasa is a free service from Google. I love it. You can play with your photos, like straighten them, lighten them crop and even do weird things like pixelate them or make them look like comic book type illustrations. I did a bird in flight. It didn't come out as clear as I liked to I did it in neon and now it's sort of a mascot for a group I belong to. Once you change your photo hit "save a copy" before you download it onto a disc. otherwise it will revert to the original pix. I love it, it's great!

You should be able to connect a USB cable directly from the camera to your computer for downloading the files.
Picasa and PhotoScape are both "Free" programs for editing and are relatively easy to use. I also recommend Corel PaintShopPro as it is a lot less expensive than the Adobe products and will do most everything they can do. I just bought the PaintShopPro x6 Ultimate at BestBuy for under $60!!

Not quote sure what you are asking. But will try.

If you want to make changes to the photos, you need to down load them to your computer. You can do this in a couple of ways.
1-connect your camera to your usb port on your computer or...
2-remove the SD card from your camera and download the photos using a card reader or card reading slot on your computer.

Now you will need some software to make changes to your photos. Your computer may already have a program to do this. Or you can download one that came on a disc with your camera or google Picasa and download that program. Picasa is easy to use.

Once you have your photos the way you want them, you can transfer them to a portable thumb drive (flash drive) and take anywhere you want to have your prints made.
Another option is to upload them directly to the web site of the store you want to print them. Then you can pick them up when they are ready later that day.
