I had been sick for quite some time & my husband would take me out on the weekends so I could get out & enjoy the scenery -maybe even see an Eagle or something that caught my eye to take a picture of.
I had this as my screen saver on my computer at work when my mom popped in & went crazy over this. (I didn't think it was all that but since she seemed to like it & even mentioned about having it on her wall) I decided to do something special for her.
I asked my husband if he would make the frame, I also had it matted. We gave it to her on Christmas. She love it - which I'm glad, since it ended up being quite huge. I think the overall specs on it was 26x30. (I was pretty nervous, as I had never done anything like this before.)
The shot on the wall is just from a cell phone, but it gives you an idea of what it looks like, hanging up.
Would love to hear your thoughts.....
Oh,that's just lovely Stephie...a very pretty scene. I bet your Mom really enjoys it. Such a thoughtful gift.
That is execellent and looks great in the frame on the wall.Nice one.
Thank you James! She really did like it. I was so nervous about the whole thing - I love to take pictures but I still have no idea what I am doing yet, lol.

Thank you angler - I appreciate that. :)
It is wonderful when you can create something that will bring such joy to someone else. Well done.

Thanks for your comment :)
Very enjoyable, makes me look around, but it pulls me back to the water.
I have to agree with your mom, makes for a great wall photo.

It sure goes to show that it's not about the camera, but about the photographer! Nice shot Steph,
