Only model available for practice today. Extremely patient, can hold a pose forever.
I agree, those are the best model's....nice shot.

Yes, although I like to shoot people when possible, I found there was absolutely no pressure to "hurry" a shot today. It was relaxing.
And, thank you for commenting.

Good one Rick...someone once suggested I put my insects into the freezer for a while to slow them down (which I would never do) for doing my macro...maybe we can do that for human subjects...

Thanks Ron. I'm afraid a short time in the freezer would cause someone like me to shiver so much that motion blur might be present @ 1/8000. If I stayed in the freezer long enough to slow down, I would likely stay motionless for as long as my little Cherub model will.
Just a special personal note that is not related to this photo, I HATE being cold. This is something that I seem to feel the need to tell people every year about this time. You, Ron, are one of those lucky people today. :)

I agree about being cold. We had some white stuff all over the car windshield today for the 2nd time this year. What's up with that? Lucky for me that I get up at the crack of noon. Frost is usually gone by then. The wife tells me about it.

I knew I wasn't alone in my aversion to cold. That's one of the main reasons I live in "the South". Some days I feel I didn't migrate as far south as I should have. :)

Great photo Rick, being that patient she must be an angel.

Thank you Ebbote. Every time that I've looked at that little casting, I thought it represented a young male angelic figure (maybe because of the interaction with the frog). After reading your comment, I guess it really is gender neutral.
Nice portrait. I like it.
