Went and picked this up today,Pretty impressed so far,1&2 about 40 feet 3 about 15 feet more,straight out of the camera.

Thanks homeranger,I'm using a canon 7d just got the lens yesterday so still getting used to it,I'm in Burleson just south of Fort worth,Headed for Port Aransas next month for a week and give this thing a workout,Bill

I'm looking forward to seeing some photos from your trip south. Stop by Gruene Hall in Gruene, TX (3.5 miles off I35, Hwy 306 exit, before you get to New Braunfels) and get a few shots of the old dance hall and water tower for me. The Guadalupe river is there too. Some nice old Cypress trees along the river makes for some nice photos. PM when you get them posted. Have fun and be safe.
