This beaver likes an audience, he swims under and on the pond water at the Cleveland zoo.

Please keep it where he's at. We have too many damming our streams and causing flood of farms and in times of heavy rain, some homes. They are engineers at construction by destruction!

Thanks Heirloom Tomato for your comment and thumbups. This beaver swims right up by the thick glass wall that separates us from the pond, top and underwater, a real "ham".

There was a river otter like that at the Portland Zoo. Quite a showoff for the people. It's great to get so close to them.

This friendly swimmer is happy right where he is and isn't going anywhere. :-)

Fun shot, Photophile. And nice job catching his bow wave so well, too. Cute little guy. I think Linda from Maine managed to catch a pair of them in a culvert in her town last year, had a few photos posted here.

Nicely done, Photophile. I like the rings of water surrounding him, and seeing him in natural looking habitat.
