Every time I moved to get away from him, this guy (who needs a full-time proctologist) set up right in front of me. I was nice, and just kept moving.

But you shoulda moved around in front of him saying "Excuse me, I was working on this shot first!" Or stood beside him and put your hand in front of the lens!!

don't lower your standards, in my old Navy days they talked about the 10% which were the stupid and inconsiderate, now the 10% are the good guys. It really makes your day when you run into someone with manners.

I understand someone just got shot in Florida for texting during the previews in a movie theater.
I think everyone here would understand if you had shot this guy, and give you a 'not guilty' verdict.
It's the non-photographer folks on the jury you'd have to worry about...

Not sure I would ever consider shooting the guy, but my monopod or tripod legs might either get in his way, or cause me to trip over his tripod "accidentally" !! :lol: :lol: :lol:

We have a "professional studio" in the area here that hired a couple of shooters that do the same thing to us at high school sporting events. There several of us that don't get paid or lower only get paid as side jobs not career oriented and they moved in on us the last 4-5 years and make things miserable trying to take pictures of your own kids.

Perhaps you should have walked up after taking the photo and a showed it to him and asked if he would like a copy of it .

If you think your fellow Americans are rude, go to the western European countries. In lines there you will see rude close up. At tourist spots, you can get pushed aside so someone can get a good shot.
