HIghkey coffee

I built a box to produce highkey photos, got bored due to gloomy weather outside. Very minimal PP. Some highlights and shadow adjustments.
Comments are always welcome.

Glass jar and rear lid just a bit hot, nearly blending into background.

I was battling these images. When reviewed on my LCD screen on my camera it looked good. When downloaded to my computer the background did not wash out as much as I needed. I have to figure that one out.
Thank you for the comment. I will go back into the file and play with it again. I am not experienced in post processing.

Agree with Nikonian but it's an interesting shot; I like it. The glass rims where they meet the background definitely need slight adjustment but can easily be done PP if you have the software. Imaginative picture.

Thank you Paul. Does this look better?

I like the subject and the composition of this photo. I found it interesting and it kept my attention. Get bored again soon.

Nice, very attractive image!

Although I don't think I'd call it high key. The background certainly is as bright as can be, but the subject itself is fairly normal exposed.

Glass is definitely better, but beans are now dark. I am NOT experienced with PhotoShop, Elements, nor LightRoom. With any of those programs, you can 'layer' (separate) the dark area for exposure correction, then re-introduce back into image. Maybe someone on the Hog can assist you.

I love the first one you posted. The loss of detail in the jars is appealing to me as part of the overall impact. Great composition and subject matter. The contrast of the clear glass with rich brown beans spilling out is very interesting.

Since someone else has edited and posted the image I am assuming you don't mind. Here's my try.

Used shadow/highlight tool. Darkened highlights and brightened shadows.
