Nikon SB400 flash

About 7years ago I bought a Nikon D 40 X with a SB400 flash. I up graded my camera to a D 90. Is the SB flash compatable to the D 90? It has no controls or adjustments like the 600 or 900.

sb400 is a great small unit and will still work with the new camera. I keep one in my pack, versus carrying the sb910 all the time.
