My wife and I are sitting up in bed the other night watching one of her favorite shows, "Finding Bigfoot". I'm not really paying attention because the big guy, "Bobo" is talking about the empty footage on one of their 'tree cams' and explaining why it 'just missed by that much' catching a nice picture of a bunch of 'squatches".
Just then, I hear Bobo make this innocuous remark about a loud noise picked up on the tree cam audio. "Oh, that's nothing, probably just a tree falling over."
"A tree falls over in the forest!"
"There's no one there to hear it!"
"Yet, it's picked up on the tree cam audio!!!"
One of the greatest philosophical questions ever posed and the possible answer blows right over Bobo's head. No wonder he never finds any squatches.
I do believe that somewhere there are a bunch of "squatches" who have an organization that hunts for sightings of "Bobo".

I think Bobo and his buddies are brilliant, they have made a good living for years now running around the woods with big lights strapped on their shoulders and a film crew making stupid noises and banging on trees with sticks. Talk about a tongue in cheek show.

On a slightly more serious note, I was saying that to my wife as well. At their age (what, 30's and 40's) I would love to have had such a well-paying gig which allowed me to run around all over the country and play in the outdoors, and I would have provided whatever faux enthusiasm and interest necessary to keep my viewers tuning in.
