good job----just make sure to keep it real...I hate when people give the subject that unrealistic smooth barbie doll look. I like to make sure the complexions are natural looking

thank you..I agree with you about the barbie doll look..I just wanted to get the red out as much as possible..Still playing with the whole manual instead of auto adjustments

Nice try for your first attempt, it looks like you did lose some of the sharpness in her eyes and her mouth/teeth.

Not sure of the editing steps you took, it could simply be they eyes weren't as sharp as the appear in the original and when you changed the w/b and exposure it just made it more noticeable. If you are doing skin work it could also be that you ran skin smoothing over the eyes and mouth.

oh - it could have been the w/b..i didn't use the skin smoothing tool..it really looked weird

I like the raw shot best -- much richer colors and far better contrast.

The woman in the red top, shown later on, is subtly improved. A good, restrained job.
