Attempt at Focus Stacking

Here is my attempt at focus stacking using Photoshop. To cover the edges of the pictures where the images did not match up I used OnOne's photo frames to cover the overlapping image size. The vertical one of the rose is with a Nikon D600 and Tamron 90mm macro. The others are with a Nikon D800E and Tamron 90mm macro.

focus-stacking as intended can yield some pretty impressive images but stacking for fun is a whole new world....

Tuck the idea of a temporal-stack in the back of your mind and let it simmer for awhile....

Thank you Photog8. The edge effects came from OnOne's PhotoFrames and the white areas were canvas size and the black lines were strokes then I applied pillow emboss to each.

Thank you Linda. Have you gone to Othello to the Columbia Wildlife Refuge? In the middle to last part of March and first of week or so of April, depending on the weather, the Sandhill Cranes make rest stop. Some times you can get some good pictures other times they are too far away.

I went several years ago before I had a super-zoom :) Thanks for the reminder!
