Great! You caught them! I was telling my wife I wanted to photograph ducks coming in for a landing, but find out the pond is ice covered. She said they probably flew further south, but it doesn't much matter - that polar vortex dropped the temperature to freezing in all 50 states.

The Swans were a lot better in their landings The duck well that was a different story. So there must be something in the saying Graceful as a Swan

I use to do all video but have not done much in the past few years But next time I go down I will bring my Video Camera and get some ducks sliding into home..

Neat series! I once saw an American Coot trying to walk across a frozen pond in a cross wind. It was hilarious as the bird looked like a drunken Michael Jackson trying to do a moon walk. Unfortunately, I wasn't into shooting video at the time as that would have been the best way to communicate what I saw.
