I am wondering what the odds are that someone will make a lens that is suitable for inside sports. I have a canon 70-200 2.8 lens but that things is big. I am wondering if it is possible to make a lens of 50-100 that would be smaller and easier to hand-hold than the big lenses out there right now. Is it even possible to build lens like this. Just one of my wishes.
Trade it for the 70-200 f/4 and use the left over $$$ for a 6D. Problem solved. :-)

I have the Canon AF mount - also in Nikon and I believe Minolta ! A great relatively inexpensive option - especially for full frame .....

I also have the older version Sigma 50-150. It is only 5.2 inches long. Almost a70-200 equivalent on a crop sensor. No vibration reduction.
