My father-in-law told me Adobe allows free full downloads of unsupported versions of Photoshop. I cannot find these downloads. Does anyone know if this is accurate?

Ask your father in law why he thinks it's OK to steal.

Not free in the sense they are giving it away, free in teh sense that CS3 is old as the hills and activation servers are no more. They posted a end all be all SN that will activate all CS2 and 3 products without authentication at Adobe.

Adobe did give away unlimited free downloads to Photoshop CS2 last summer (as well as all other CS2 products), but the free download period has ended and CS2 has been completely removed from Adobes servers.

It's still available if you log in to the Adobe website. Search for CS2.
You must have an account, but that just takes a couple of clicks and an email confirm.
Ignore the message which says the downloads are finished and the next screen gives you the option to download.
It was working two days ago.

Do you always post inflamitory and troll like statements without having all the facts?

If you were a real photographer and not just a troll, you would know that Adobe was/is giving away older copies. That is not stealing.

I have never heard of such a thing... You should be able to get a trial version and then there are always bit torrent sites... but I would be very suspect of anything downloaded from a bit torrent. Scary stuff that will sometimes eat a computer.

I downloaded it first of last year. It is free, straight from Adobe. It's CS2, not supported any longer, that's why they're letting people have it for nothing. Plus, it may, or may not work with some newer systems.

I'll keep my thoughts on the 'stealing' comment to myself, better for my BP.

I downloaded that when news first went out and soon after deleted it.
Downloaded it again a couple months ago. I do use it from time to time, but it tries to contact the registration server every time.

For the most part, I'm happy with the PSP X5 but CS2 runs smoother.
