Were there several blooms on a very tall stem? Possibly hollyhock. Very beautiful image! Love the light and composition.

I just "googled" Hollyhock and.....you're right.
So...the attached would be Pink Hollyhock.

The white ones you posted look frillier, almost a "double." Your pinks are gorgeous too!

Yes....there must be some variations. The white ones were delicate looking and the pink ones have a tougher looking petal.
When I googled Hollyhock I see images of both types.
