My totally twisted version of Christmas lights! The "twisted" comes from my zooming in and out (twisting the focal length) while on a longer shutter speed.. You can comment, let me know if you like 'em, hate 'em, or just ask "why"! Also, please post any that you may have.
OK---somebody---ANYBODY!! Say something!!!

Good variation on the usual Colored Blobs on absolute dark backgrounds.
Happy Christmas

These are some of the better long exposure shots that I've seen yet! I like them!
sometimes it does take a while for replys.
I like the one with the arches....
I love the star one!
I played with the zoom in and out thing a couple years ago. This was my favorite:

I think they are all interesting. Love the star
I liked the arches also! Interesting...I had NO idea you could even do that!!! Although, while using a slow shutter speed, accidentally, my daughter jumped out of the shot before it was taken, and it left a ghostly effect. After I saw it, I had her stay here a bit longer, so her image was a bit more present...
I can't say I love the shot BUT just realizing that you can do some quirky things, is kinda cool;)
slow shutter speed, "subject" moved out of the shot..."ghost" effect!

I did that one by actually moving the camera. Longer shutter speed, pressed the button, let it stay for a second or so, and then panned the camera.
Liked all images but the star esp. pleasing - thanks --tg
