That's my question as well. What lens? I have shot indoors with my 55-200 and also my 70-300. Just purchased a 70-200 2.8 for sports, indoors and out.

I shot most of the pictures with a 75/300 f/4 -5.6. I rented a 2.8 200mm lens for our playoff game. I don't own anything faster than 3.5. Most of our gyms our way under lit. I am going to start loading all of my basketball stuff next.
