i had a papillon, and it seems the smaller breeds tend to be that way for some reason. He was the same way.

Adorable little dog. It's sad she still lives with a lack of trust possibly from past abuse. Kudos to your daughter for giving Lola a warm home and the love she deserves.

Mom, Dad and Daughter were at a big pet adoption event in Albuquerque and I pointed this one out.
