"I like it, I like it a lot" :) Man I think her groom must have gotten cold feet?.. she's still waiting!
I think she can wait as long as she needs to
I'm glad you like the photo and....Thank You.
Somehow I attached the wrong file. It has a yellowish cast. This is the one I meant to post. Sorry
I actually like the first one better :) the yellowish cast makes "to me" look more antique and since the has been wating a while in her nice vintage gown, it only makes it look more authentic to me :)
Very "artsy"

I have a question: is the fist photo taken with different settings than the second more white one?.. just wondering, im a new bee :)
I had a bit of a dilemma.
You're right, the dress should be an antique white but if I adjusted to make it look right the rest of the photo seemed a bit dingy. Eventually I opted for brighter hat and flowers.
I could have "painted" the dress and adjusted it separately but...I was too lazy.
Both images were adjusted a bit in Lightroom.
I'm impressed with they way you picked up on the too white dress in the second image.
So....for you....I will call the first one correct :)

I yellowed the dress separately in this version. I also tried to make this a sepia tone B&W but it didn't come off too well.
Nice very nice, I wish I knew how to "correct" images, one day my friend :) I have only had my new Nikon d3100 for about 3 weeks, just learning all the buttons so far.. next, learn to do what your doing.. color fixes :)
I really like the photos' they are different and I like different!

I like the warmer version, but the second is nice too.

My recommendation is shoot raw and.....download and try a trial copy of Adobe Lightroom.
It's very powerful and the learning curve is very reasonable.
For an idea of what you can do check out
the various YouTube Lightroom tutorials by Serge Ramelli. He goes for some rather extreme results but I like the way he demonstrates the capabilities and a lot of it can be viewed for free. Then you have to buy the app to see the rest.
For the file management capabilities of Lightroom I'd recommend "The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 (or 5) Book for Digital Photographers.

(hope you don't mind an old(er) man acting like he knows what he's talking about. I often do not)
