While I like this crop I also like the story being told by the snowmobiles flying over the top of their heads. I think the men on the bottom balance the snowmobiles.
With any picture you want to crop (in My Not So Humble Opinion 95% of pictures should be croped) set your crop tool to the ratio you want and then just start looking how differant crops will look. The one you like best is the one you should use. - Dave

cropping was good but the photo is a little dull it doesn't have any pop, it looks soft, it would be a great photo if it had some brighter colors and sharper focus...jmho.

disagree.... they distract from the main subject.
I'm with CM on this one. The guys watching add to the story. Otherwise it's just two snowmobiles hanging in mid-air. We've all seen that or something like it a million times.
