I was able to find and photograph the Snowy Owl that has invaded the Florida beaches. specifically Little Talbot Island State Park. It was a first for me. that first photo I took after chasing up and down the beach.

Great capture, rstrick2. This immature Snowy will likely hang around less than a month and will be on its way back to the open fields of the Canadian tundra, but not likely to its birthing location.

Please encourage others to give this raptor as much space as possible. These birds-of-the year typically haven't seen enough humans to fear them, but doing all we can do to avoid stressing these Far North visitors is in our best interest, too.

Nice shots. This place is about a half hour drive from my house. Unfortunately I had other commitments so I was unable to get out there. Maybe tomorrow in very cold weather. :-D :-D
