35 mm slide clean up amd convert to digital format

How do I clean old 35mm slides mold or midew not sure witch it is. Now what scanner would I need to convert to digital format I'm not a rich person . I do know it is expenive to get done most just scan and not clean.
If someone has some ideas let me know please, even in prv message in here thank you .

Several years ago, I bought an $85 scanner from Memor-ease. B&H has a newer model for $99. It scans both slides and negative strips. It comes with software to upload the scanned image to your computer. Before that, I was using a very expensive, HP flatbed scanner with adapter for slides and negatives. The Memor-ease does just as well and is easier to use.
Will be interested to see what others say. The only thing I can complain about is that it is a slow process and the results never equal the brilliancy of the original, projected slides.
I have no idea about cleaning.

I KNOW that they clean EVERY slide as I used to work for them and did slides and cleaned EACH and EVERYONE before scanning.

1. Clean each slide with the blower & brush you would use to .
clean your camera lens.
2. For mold & mildew, use PEC-12 Photographic Emulsion Cleaner (Google it.) I use a Q-tip very carefully.
3. Scan, I use an Epson V600 and have had good results.

I have used a Static Master Brush in the darkroom for dust removal just before the putting the film in the enlarger. A couple of years ago I bought a new one in the oringinal package off eBay for a reasonable price. I have some PEC-12 but not used it yet. I have a Epson V700 flatbed scaner which I haven't used yet. I have a Minolta dedicated film scanner that I have used with good results and a Nikon Coolscan V ED film scanner I havent used yet but I bought of a friend for $50. I'll be moving in about a month and hope to finally get organized to start using this equipment.
There are some good scanners out ther moderately priced--check B&H and Adorama--prices have really come down with more choices. But yes it is a slow process--not much you can do about that unless you want to pay some one else to do it.
