This buck was chasing this fawn around for about 10 minutes in the woods behind our house. I went out along our fence and was shooting over the fence as the big buck had chased off 2 smaller bucks in the area and didn't want any confrontation with him in his area. It was around 4:10 or so when I got the picture and much brush in the way. I shot it at 1/1000 at 6.3 with a D90 and 18-270 lens at 270. They were about 50 yards away in the brush so not a real clear picture. This is my first capture of a buck trying to mount a doe.
She wasn't ready quite yet, but he is determined.
