The silver/red tinsel is nice, but I find the red ball at the bottom distracting. I wonder if it would work better if that was cropped out. The black space on the side isn't really necessary to give context, we already know this is on a christmas tree, so you could crop that out as well if you want to preserve this aspect ratio.

A real tree would be better. I have a "put me up every year", but I don't really like it. Cutting a tree brings out the kid in me, and I need that now.
