Snow in our area today

Nasty weather here today. It's been snowing hard all day with lots of blowing and drifting. I could brighten these pictures but this is really how it looked.

Interesting set. We are scheduled to get what did not fall on you guys starting this evening. They already closed schools in this area.

Thanks. They aren't the best pictures but they do show the weather we are getting. Hope you don't get as much as we have. It's flat here and the blowing/drifting is what makes it so bad.

You are welcome. Sometimes I wonder why I stay here, lol. My family is here so I guess I'll just deal with the winters. We are supposed to get another major storm Sunday, I believe, with temperature dropping. To have chill factor of -18 tonight.

That doesn't look like a drift. It looks more like a burial ground. Well done though.

Thank you. I don't know how much yet but it's a lot and it's still snowing. It's hard to measure as well, due to the blowing and drifting.

It looks a lot like some of the snows we had when we lived in Cincinnati. Frankly I do not miss this kind of weather. The worst we have had is 2 inches and a little ice. For some it was awful and for us is was no big deal.
