Gonate...thanks for the info....we plan on going there again this summer.
Here are some that I took last year in the new Sacramento Train Museum. It is well worth the stop. All the rolling stock on display has been refurbished which adds to the viewing experience. There is even enough room to get pictures. They are under various lighting conditions. I shot without flash hand held, ISO varies between 2000 and 3200, shutter f4.5
Nice llindstrand...makes me want to go there again soon!!

My parents used to live in Reno until they died. I have a sister who still lives in Reno. I have to go there constantly to do repairs on her house because her husband is a zero. Every time I go there, I stop in at the Museum in Carson City. I have another sister who lives in Tahoe. So I am happy. Good shots!
Nice photo's everybody!! Here are a few along the Empire Builder route in Montana, this is my 1st photo's shown in any forum.

We were very impressed by the by the museum and the condition of the trains. They have a dining car set up that has a gentle rocking to it as one walks through it. It closely simulates the rock of a train in the years past.
We will be happy to have you, kramer. And we have slots here also.
