I've been tempted, but I've resisted - so far. I was looking for a refurb, but haven't seen any. I've seen them listed for as low as about $450. Keep searching!

Reading a review on Amazon, I see that one person gave it three stars because it didn't come with a printed manual. The software is in the camera. You have to download it from the camera to your computer. I guess they found a new way to save money - no CD included. No battery charger, either.

Funny, I eventually bought a panasonic and then sold it a few months later. I found that for snap shots my phone is fine and for photography I went right to my dslr. I hope the new lens is working out for you, if not you'll just have to try another one...lol. If you ever change your mind, let me know. I'm going to sell my RX100 M2 and purchase the M3 - I want the viewfinder and brighter lens. The M2 is a great camera and I really got some great shots with it.
