Multiple Pictures on on Photo

I have taken pictures of various objects to spell out the names of my grand-kids. I want to bring them together on one photo that I can have framed but I'm unsure how to put them together. I have Lightroom, Elements and Perfect Suites for accomplishing this task. Any ideas?

Separate the objects from their background, Use layers, stack them and blend them as needed/wanted, add new background. PSE will do it, I think (I use PS), Lightroom and the other, I have no clue.

If they do the process is the same with an exception if you copy/position/paste maybe 'final', if the case save between modifications and start with the background instead of finishing with it.

PSE 12: if it's not important that the objects blend well with your background, you can just use the quick selection tool, then copy/paste from your original image to another with plain background. Then use the move tool to make larger, smaller, or change location. Be sure you're in the "expert" tab in order to access.

Let us know how perfect you want the result to be :) Maybe post a couple of the "letter" shots?

1.) In Elements you will go to Image, Resize, Canvas size and make the canvas big enough for all your pictures. Then you open rest of the pictures and make a copy and paste on the canvas.
2.) If you have later Elements, go to Create, Photo Collage, load the pictures and let the Elements do your job.

Lightroom has a lot of adjusting ability, but it can not do layers. You'll need a regular processing program like Elements or the full version of PhotoShop. And you'll have to learn how to do layers.

Thanks everyone! I used Elements via layers to produce the names with various letters. Happy New Year and may this year be the best!

I tried to use Collage in Elements but I found it to be more difficult than just creating layers.
