How to import Photos from Iphone5 to Lightroom 5

Just got my wife a IPhone 5c for Christmas and I want to get the photos from the 4s to the new iphone5c. Also I would like to get the photos imported into lightroom 5 for editing and printing. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

My wife and I have two email addresses. I attach pictures from the phone to an email and mail them to the other address. Then I open the email on the computer and move the pictures to a file that can be dealt with in PSE in my case or Lightroom in your case. The same procedure works between two phones. The key to my system is to have two email addresses and to be able to access both addresses from all of our devices, pads, phones and computers. The devil, as the say, is in the details, but that is the general idea.

Doesn't that work automatically with iCloud. You backup the phone to the cloud, and then the new phone gets updated that way.
Couldn't you do the same thing through iTunes?

I'm pretty sure you just plug the phone into the USB port and dump them into LR.

Plug phone in open import pick the I phone and a destination folder and import
