Tamron 70-300 v. Nikon 70-300
I've reviewed several comparison tests and they seem to go both ways: some say Tamron is sharper at 300; others Nikon.
Any "real world" experiences to share?-- particularly someone who has used both? Both have the vibration reduction: VC/VR.
Thanks
Hi there, I have the Nikon version which I am happy with but, as you know, I am a novice and have nothing to compare it with. If the prices are similar then I think it would be better to go with Nikon but if there is a big difference - well you pay your money, you take your chance. I also have the Nikon kit lens 18-105mm which I do find very sharp.

Have you used their editing programs? Curious of to their abilities and which would be best.
