Could either of these make it to your or a friends wall? Before saying NO blow them up and step back from your screen a few steps, If it's still a NO please say so. I'll survive. Happy New Year, Robin

The first as it contains more colors and looks much more vibrant to me.

I'm just curious. Says you are from Missoula, Mt. Have you ever attended The Rocky Mountain School of Photography?

I've attended a couple of their weekend seminars but never taken a full course from them. One of their instructors has taught some night school classes which I've attended. It has an excellent reputation and they work you to the bone and then some

Both are great -- I'd hang either or both without hesitation.

I'd hang the first one. It's a stronger image. It's dark, moody, and I would dwell on it longer. I keep seeing new things like the hint of snow on the ground that I missed at first.

The first one, but I would crop it to be more "landscape" shape - long and narrow.

I like them both. I prefer the second one for a wall as it is more subtle. I'd tire of the brighter one faster, but that's just me. It depends on the room and the framing, too.

Thanks, Heirloom. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think #2 is a little different but obviously like it or it wouldn't be up. Cheers, Robin
