I went out to the Gorge Christmas Eve for a photo shoot. I did a 2 mile round trip hike down a switch back to shoot Elowah Falls. Here are a few of the shots.

I love waterfalls anyway, but the greenery still evident in your landscapes is a welcom relief to the brown grasses and trees in North Carolina.

Very nice. What is the white band around the foot of the falls in no. 4? Is that snow or some type of deposit?
