If you can download this, and magnify it a bit, you'll see a starburst effect in the dog's eye. I wish I could say I planned it, but it just appeared.

Really nice shot and beautiful dog. Lighting on the dog is perfect. I might photoshop out the tree but since it's not in focus it's less bothersome. Well done!

Thank You ecobin. It's not a tree, but a fence post. I did try to clone it out, but it's too large and the result was not pleasing. Happy New Year to you and yours.

Thank you, tk. I'm sorry for your loss. The worst thing about having a dog is knowing that you'll outlive him/her. I've had dogs since I was 5... can't live without 'em.
