This is a shot of a sun dog that you get here in Minnesota when it is extremely cold outside. Please C&C. Thanks for looking

That's an excellent photo, the only thing I would do would be get rid of that little branch that is hanging down in the center. That's a distraction otherwise it is excellent.
I used to be there. I'm glad I am here and you are there. I remember how cold it would be when you would see those things, even your big winter coat wasn't enough.

Yea well it was me in the backyard in a snowbank at -4 when I shot it. Stay warm and thank you for the critique. Now all I have to do is figure out how to get rid of the branch.

Saw a really nice one here in VT a few weeks ago.
It was cold (-10F) and fairly clear at mid-morning. Wished I had my camera with me.

Thank you everyone for the nice comments. Only problem is it has to get REALLY cold before they form, lol. We are expecting -4 tomorrow for a high, so maybe another opportunity.
